Scott’s expertise is in quality services and IT support, strategy and consulting. Scott has industrialized IT support, engaged large scale IT implementations of new technologies, and developed plans for technology transitions.
In his work at GTS, he has created a quality control and quality assurance process for PG&E pipeline construction. Scott drafted the QC/QA implementation with fundamentals, sampling, issue resolution, and data management. He also supported contracting and construction activities for natural gas transmission pipelines.
Major Accomplishments:
- Scott developed analysis and plans for step transitions of mobile and wireless enterprise while at Intel. He also developed Understanding Mobility as an enterprise foundation and vision for future IT mobile architecture.
- While working at Intel, Scott was responsible for coordinating the quickest development and deployment of IT standard client with IBM (first 250 units in 4 weeks) in preparation for the global Centrino launch. He also led analysis of potential launch event issues and worked with Intel Marketing to complete detailed Intel Centrino productivity analysis.
- Scott was significant in Intel’s Mobile IT Support where he developed Intel IT road warrior support around global IT requirements. He re-engineered annual notebook upgrades that dramatically increased customer satisfaction and productivity. This process is now used throughout Intel PC Service Centers.
Scott received his BS in Building Construction from Auburn University. He also received his Telecommunications Management Certification from California State University, Sacramento.
