Project Description
The project consisted of managing construction of 11 miles of 24-inch natural gas transmission line with a MAOP of 720 psi and modifying two existing regulating stations to meet increased demand in the Sacramento, California area. The project traversed environmentally sensitive areas, requiring permits from several government agencies and acquiring new easements from multiple lands owners. The pipe installation involved conventional trenching, hammer bores and seven directional drills.

GTS Involvement
GTS provided construction management services to assist the client. GTS provided material tracking, monitored construction activities and progress, resolved contract disputes and change orders, facilitated weekly onsite project status meetings, and reviewed as-built documentation.
