Line 406 Construction
Project Description
The PG&E Line 406 project consisted of approximately 14 miles of 30-inch diameter steel pipe with a MAOP of 975 psig. The line begins at the Capay Metering station just north of the town of Capay then heads east, crossing Interstate 505 and Interstate 5 by way of Horizontal Directional Drills. The pipeline construction portion of the project began in April of 2010 and was completed in October of 2010.
GTS Involvement
GTS was involved in all phases of the project including conception, routing, planning, permitting, engineering, construction management, and other activities involved in bringing the pipeline into operation.
