MAOP Uprates

GTS has successfully uprated over 100 miles of pipeline in the last 10 years over projects varying from several hundred feet to over 38 miles. GTS’s familiarity with Subpart K of the CFR 49, Section 192, ensures that the operator remains in compliance with all regulatory requirements necessary to successfully uprate a pipeline or system. GTS’s experience, knowledge, and due diligence in reviewing historical documentation, maintenance records and operational history helps us develop a comprehensive and complete uprating procedure and documentation package.   

GTS has the experience to develop supplemental drawing packages for replacing out of compliant features and material verification digs to eliminate major replacements or retesting of the line in its entirety. GTS can coordinate with utility crews and gas control to help develop the uprate incremental set points and any necessary regulation equipment modifications.
